A member asked:

My son is teething and is 10 months should i take him to the doctor if the diarrhea and vomitting continues?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Teething: Shouldn't be causing diarrhea and vomiting, but sometimes excess salivation can cause GI upset. Important that child be well hydrated. If he has a fever, by all means call your Pediatrician. Once 1st tooth erupts, but no later than 1st b'day, have him screened by a Dentist, preferably a children's dental specialist, a Pedodontist, an expert in children's dent-facial growth and development.
