A member asked:

I thought i had a kidney infection with bad back and abdomen pain. now lessened but my left lower back is numb with chicken pox like spots?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sounds like shingles: Herpes zoster, or shingles, classically presents with a painful eruption involving the area supplied by a single nerve root on one side of the body. If it crosses the midline it is probably something else. The pain can often precede the outbreak. Go and get treated.
