A member asked:

Could someone possibly feel an antidepressant work on the 3rd day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: A person can feel that an antidepressant is working on the 3rd day. Most likely that is due to the positive attitude of the patient and perhaps detecting some of the side effects of the medication. It usually takes a couple of weeks for the antidepressant effects to substantially take hold.
