Either: Either is possible. They usually cause different symptoms. Endometriosis causes more pain symptoms. Menopause affects periods, vaginal dryness, hot flashes etc. Both would warrant and evaluation.

Possible fr menopaus: Please have her see her gyn as the gyn can do tests to determine that and menopause is totally different than endometriosis.
