No: Ultrasound would not be able to tell if there were traces of alcohol or tobacco. Ultrasound is a very useful tool for detecting abnormalities throughout the body without ionizing radiation. Alcohol is best detected with a breath or blood test. Tobacco is harder to detect, but can be seen in the blood and hair.
