I'm wondering why are my veins showing through the skin in my legs/feet/breasts?

Inherited: You probably are lean, low body fat, and lift weights or work out? Also, as we age, our skin thins with less collagen so we can see veins more, especially when we have fair skin color, inherit tendency. If concerned go see a vein doctor: www.Phlebology.Org or get a physical. After breast augmentation or other surgeries of the breast or chest, we see more veins too. Usually nothing to worry about.

Normal.: The prominence of veins through the skin is affected by many factors including levels of hydration and dehydration, body temperature as well as outside temperature, medications and even levels of stress. Fair skinned people tend to have more easily visible veins than darker individuals and hereditary plays a strong role also. In a healthy person, visible veins are usually not of any concern.
