Speak to your MD: Best to speak with the surgeon who did your septoplasty about what's going on. How long has it been since your surgery?

Swelling?: Treatment depends on timing. Swelling is common after septoplasty and this improves with time. A hematoma, collection of blood in the septum, is usually associated with pain, and needs to to drained asap. If you are months out and still can't breath, additional information is needed. Best to consult you surgeon for diagnosis and further treatment. If still unsatisfied, a second opinion may help.

Internal Collapse: You may have internal valve collapse, which may account for your breathing issues. This can occur even with previous septoplasties and turbinectomies. See a board certified plastic surgeon and ask if you may need to have spreader grafts placed to open up your airway.
