A member asked:

Is brain stroke and paralysis a possible risk for people with migraine?

Paralysis possible: One severe type of migraine may cause weakness in one side of the body (hemiplegic migraine). This can be severe enough that the weakness might look like a stroke. A stroke may also be associated with severe headache. Any newly developed paralysis needs to be evaluated quickly, do not assume it is a migraine and stay home. Call 911.
