See a doctor: Please review this link: http://www.relieve-migraine-headache.com/ocular-migraine-stroke.html Be sure you actually have an ocular migraine or is it just a symptom of a migraine with aura. There is some evidence which shows an increased risk of stroke with certain types of migraines. Nonetheless, you should lower your risks of stroke by NOT smoking, checking your blood pressure and lipids.

Migraine=vascular HA: due to internal brain subconscious/autonomic control of artery wall muscles not sustaining muscle tension required to maintain artery size, allowing arteries to enlarge (driven by whatever the blood pressure, Nl or ↑ed, inside the artery) stretching the surrounding tissues & resulting in symptoms, commonly pain. Prior to enlargement, vasospasm may produce auras. Rare relation to tumors or strokes.

Puzzling: Are you sure it was an ophthalmic migraine? I ask because people who are informed enough to know what a migraine IS are usually also pretty well informed about what a migraine is NOT, which includes brain tumors. Strokes & migraines are (only very) SLIGHTLY related. Go to the website of the American Headache Society and do some reading about migraines. Knowledge is power; arm yourself.
