First steps : Plantar fasciitis is all about support. Quit walking barefoot, in sandals or flipflops. Live in a good pair of sneakers. Ice the arches. Try Ibuprofen or Naproxen unless you are allergic or have stomach or ulcer issues. Do calf stretches. If these don't work, orthotics are a reasonable next step.

Yes it can.: Plantar fasciitis is inflammation of the structure that connects the heel to the ball of the foot. If this is a chronic condition, your foot is inflamed and can feel tired. Custom orthotics are a means to hold the foot in the correct position and decrease the irritation that causes the inflammation - thus, if prescribed properly, can reduce the fasciitis and reduce the pain and fatigue.

Yes: Chronic plantar fascitis can certainly make you feel that way. Custom orthotics are great but also nsaids and may try night splints too. Physical therapy and a newer not covered by insurance treatment prp may help.

Plantar fasciitis: Almost any chronic pain syndrome can make you feel tired. The recommendation for custom orthotics is accurate. Sometimes injection therapy is needed or oral medications. See your podiatrist - best of luck.

NEED FOR SUPPORT!: There are many possibe reasons (plantar fascitis being a distinct probability) that you may have pain in the heels, but try arch supports like spenco polysorb (http://www.Spenco.Com/products/footcare/poly-sorb) and otc anti-inflammatories (like aleve). If these don't help, see a podiatrist.
