Second opinion: There are a number of more involved options for plantar fasciitis that does not respond to traditional treatments including orthotics and injections as you have had; among these options is surgery. You might consider getting a second opinion as well. Tarsal tunnel syndrome could potentially explain the symptoms you are describing.
