A member asked:

What does improper immobilization or too much motion of fracture mean?

Fracture motion: For fractures to heal, the body requires a certain amount of stability at the fracture site. If the bone segments are shifting and moving during the healing process, problems with healing might be encountered. If motion is present during healing, the body forms a bone callus around the fracture site which is visible on xray and tells doctors that there has been movement.
