Yes: Immobilization will help with pain relief and walking as well. The fracture may eventually heal regardless but you will be much better off with cast or fracture brace. Good luck.

Foot fracture=rest: Definitely no motion! rest it completely until it heals. Never take a fracture in the foot for granted!
