Reply: Hard to suggest without knowing the extent of burn and the source that he got burnt from. Please let his pediatrician see and prescribe appropriate treatment.

See below: Depending on the size of the burn, will determine the course. If the entire sole is involved, get him see now for evaluation. If only a part, you can likely wait and see you pediatrician in the am. Keep the are clean, don't break any blisters, but if they break, clean and cover with clean bandages and antibiotic ointment or silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) to make the wound less painful. If any black areas - er now.
