I would expect the issue is a peripheral neuropathy and not allergy. Benadryl is unlikely to ever benefit such situations. I would consult your doc about more useful treatments. Alpha-lipoic acid is an over the counter supplement often used in these situations that might provide some benefit. Please consult with and review all your meds & supplements with your doc on a regular basis.

You describe a distal neuropathy and an anti allergy pill (Benadryl)is not likely to help in such circumstances, moreover Benadryl is believed to be causing neuropathy if taken for long periods of time. Work up is usually needed and best will be to start with your primary care doc.

Instead of treating yourself, would urge seeing your doctor, getting examined and diagnosed. You almost certainly suffer from peripheral neuropathy, likely of small fiber type. Benadryl is never helpful for this, nor will TENS provide benefits. Discuss potential neurological consult.
