Neuropathy?: Your dad may have a condition caused neuropathy, which described as a burning pain, often in the feet and hands. Diabetes is often a cause of this. A doctor should be able to help him figure out what is causing his pain and get him better!

A few options: 1. Athletes foot (tinea pedis) 2. Neuropathy (secondary to diseases like diabetes) 3. Neuritis/neuroma have it seen by a doctor to diagnose and treat it.

Why doesn't: Your 55 year old dad go to the podiatrist? It may be something simple like athletes foot. If it is a foot doc will tell you right away and if not they would be able to diagnose him.
