Nerve pain: Commonly, anti-seizure medications like Gabapentin or Lyrica (pregabalin) are used for neuropathic pain. Antidepressants like tca are also shown to be effective for neuropathic pain. Sometimes, we will add low dose opioid for severe pain. Nerve blocks are also effective for peripheral neuropathy. Please see a pain specialist for evaluation.
