That depends on: Whether you are / not pregnant. In either event, it sounds like possibly gingivitis. I would recommend an evaluation with your dentist. Hope this helps.

It could be: The gingiva (gum) is impacted by the hormonal changes due to pregnancy. There is an increase in vasculature of the gums during gestation. Also, pregnancy gingivitis may occur due to lack of oral hygiene and usually it is a pre-pregnacy existing condition. These changes may be causing the feeling you are experiencing.

Possible: It is possible but there could be other reasons for your symptoms. Pregnancy gingivitis is something to watch out for when one is pregnant. Your symptoms can be indicative other pathology's too that is not connected to pregnancy. An evaluation is needed.
