Need more info: If you mean the acth stimulation test, there are no adverse side effects. Don't know which type of acth stimulation you're referring to.

No: ACTH stimulation test is a very safe test, in most patients. Some patients might experience rare side effects including injection site redness, nausea, rash itching, malaise and very rarely severe allergic reaction with anaphylaxis. SLE and thyroid cancer are not contraindications for ACTH stimulation test.
