A member asked:

41f have lupus, sjorgens, antiphospholipid syndrome and being tested for cushing disease. i had the cortisol stim test and my labs show that they were high but my acth was normal. im so worried. is it normal for cortisol to raise after the steriod?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I think your test demonstrates normal adrenal function and effective suppression of ACTH at the pitiutary gland. If you still have concerns an endocrinologist can advise you best.
