Avoid:: 1. Aspirin, motrin, advil (ibuprofen) and other pain medications that cause more bruising and bleeding. 2. Avoid drinking alcohol 3. Don't suntan the skin. 4. Don't gain a bunch of weight before surgery, "because it's getting sucked out anyway". 5. Follow your surgeon's directions. 6. Wash with antibacterial soap for several days before surgery.

Instructions.: Your plastic surgeon will havea list of “do's and don'ts” for you during a preoperative visit. At that point, he/she will review instructions regarding medication/activities to be avoided prior to surgery. Best wishes.
