Not for weight loss.: If you are overweight, the treatment is definitely not liposuction. Liposuction is intended for contouring the body and re-shaping areas of bulging. A major weight loss needs to be accomplished through lifestyle changes with a commitment to healthy eating and proper and regular exercise. Once a closer to ideal weight is reached, there may be a role for liposuction or other body contouring surgery.

More inforamtion: The applicability of liposuction revolves around weight, fatty distribution and body shape. There has to be fat that is available for removal in areas with good quality elastic overlying skin. From what you have written i can't tell.

More info needed: You did not mention if you are male, female, your height etc... We require all of our patients to be at their ideal weight stable for at least 6 months prior to their consultation. If you lose any weight after having surgery, your results will be compromised. Also if you are overweight and you get liposuction, you may not be able to see any substantial results.

Probably No.: Although in person consultation would be necessary to give you precise advice, your weight seems to be too much to be a good candidate for liposuction surgery. Generally speaking, the “ideal” candidate for liposuction surgery is a healthy person with localized diet and exercise resistant adipose tissue with good quality overlying skin elasticity.
