Once you test positive for mono will u always? yrs ago i was positive. now i was tested with symptoms and i'm positive again.

Yes: If you've had it before, when you get blood work done, you'll always test positive for mono. Technically you're always infected with it. Usually the virus is dormant and not clinically significant. Rarely it can recur and become clinically significant.
