If i don't have any symptoms, how did my mono test come out positive?

You had it before: The most likely reason is you had it in the past, as many of the mono screening tests can remain positive for quite a while (years). There are also other conditions that can turn the screening tests positive. There are more specific tests for the main cause of mono,and these can often provide a better sense of timing.
