NO: It is never necessary to combine fever meds, as these may be harmful to the liver, and in fact fever does not need to be treated at all. Fever is your friend - it is there to fight infection, and lowering it only prolongs illness.We recommend treating only the symptoms- if your child is in pain, treat, otherwise give plenty of fluidsa nd let the fever run its course.
