Many and varied; yes: Lyme disease can cause virtually any symptom in the world. Early lyme tends to cause non-specific flu-like symptoms & a rash. Then it tends to cause joint pains (esp. Knee pain) & fatigue. It often causes problems with memory & concentration & a variety of neurological symptoms. As it progresses it may be misdiagnosed as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis, multiple sclerosis etc.See comment:.

Ticks can carry many other microbes besides Borrelia bacteria that cause Lyme, such as Babesia, Bartonella, Mycoplasma and Ehrlichia. It is possible to get multiple infections from a single bite. It can sometimes take months or even years after a tick bite to develop symptoms. Your symptoms may have nothing to do with your tick bite but it would be wise to see a doctor knowledgeable not only about Lyme disease but co-infections.
