Unrelated: I suspect these are unrelated conditions. I can't help you with the discharge, but the leg pain certainly could be a lumbar radiculopathy - radiating nerve pain due to a pinched lumbar nerve, often caused by a herniated disc. If the leg pain is persistent and debilitating i would certainly recommend evaluation/treatment by a physician.
