Need more info.,,,: More info would be needed to calculate the gfr. You would need urine creatinine concentration and a 24 hour urine output. Your creatinine is not considered high. A serum cr > 1.5 mg/dl would be evidence of possible renal diseases, but cr can be high due to muscle mass and protein intake. So see your dr. For the other tests, but no diseases is indicated at this time. Best of luck.

Don't treat numbers: Creatinine reflects muscularity; when i was lifting weigbts daily i ran as high as 1.6. In my experience, all muscular men run creatinine like yours or higher. For the past few years, labs have been turning out "estimated gfr's" based on spot creatinines without any reference to the human being tested, dismaying nephrologists. I hope you and your physician will ignore this fad.
