Don't use swabs!!!: Cotton swabs tend to pack the wax deeper into the ear canal more than removing it and is universally considered a bad idea by experts. Don't do it! you can try hydrogen peroxide, oils and irrigation with water but if your ears are really full of wax it might be hard to remove without seeing a doctor.
