Mineral oil: Mild ear wax is normal, and should be left alone. However, if you're having trouble hearing, and you know there is a wax plug, or have been examined, then you can add mineral oil, 3-4 drops, a couple times a day. That will soften wax so it will come out naturally. Some will use debrox, a hydrogen peroxide containing, non irritating product. Do not just use straight peroxide.
