How long before i can start liftting weights after elbow fracture?

Orthopedics: Only your orthopedist can clear you to begin lifting weights. It takes at least 8 weeks for an elbow fracture to heal, depending on the site. Your doctor will recommend physical therapy to strength the muscles around the elbow due to deconditioning from wearing a cast and sling. Don't rush back into lifting weights.
