A member asked:

What to do if i have been diagnosed with ms. any advice or warnings i should know about?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Certainly: Assuming the diagnosis is relapsing-remitting form, do the following: work with an experienced neurologist (many where you live), take a potent medication, such as gilenya, tysabri, (natalizumab) or tecfidera; do active aerobic exercise; follow a low fat low salt diet; supplement vitamin d; and stay in close contact with your doctor if relapse occurs. Your hot humid temperatures can cause fatigue and symptoms.
