Having symptoms that is possibly ms, but mri looked fine. was told that i spinal tap may be a good idea since that may show it. looking for advice.

See below: A spinal tap is a reasonable course of action to take. If it comes normal, odds are very slim that you have ms.

Advice: If both an MRI of brain and spinal cord are negative, it is very unlikely that you have MS. A spinal tap is very unlikely to show abnormalities to change this diagnosis, under these circumstances. Get a second opinion regarding cause of your symptoms.
