I have been offered aubagio to treat my ms. speaking to other people who have the illness the consistent advice is to treat flare-ups with solumedrol in hospital and not to take the other drugs inbetween. thoughts?

Two different meds: solumedrol is a steroid only used for short term and has long term side effects. Aubagio may help decrease the frequency of future flares but is not a cure. They are two different medications. Talk to your specialist for more information. If I had MS, I would taper off the Solumedrol when I could and take a long term preventive med as advised by my neurologist.
