Is there any pain involved in a chest mri without dye?

No: The procedure would not give you any sensation at all, except for lying down. It is completely painless.

No: There is no pain associated with the procedure. Mri machines are quite loud and you will probably be supplied with earplugs and possibly headphones. The procedure may take 30 minutes or so. You may need a pillow under your knees to avoid back discomfort. It is essential you lay perfectly still.
