Medical evaluation.: If it has been ten or more years since your tetanus shot or you don't know when it was then a tetanus shot is warranted. Is it lacerated (needs sutures)? Is there an abrasion (that needs to be debrided / cleaned)? Was the exhaust pipe hot at the time (burn)? Are you in significant pain?
