Not sure: Only you and your doctor can make a determination on when to be admitted to a hospital. Persistent vomiting & dehydration may be one reason. If your primary problem is only nausea, however, I am not sure what would be accomplished by being admitted to a hospital. Have blood tests been done, ultrasound, etc?

Hmmmm: If the zofran (ondansetron) or phenargan can not control your nausea, and it had been a week from surgery, it best to rethink other problem that may or may not relate to gallbladder surgery. So i agree with your doc.
