I had my gallbladder out july 4th after one attack. was perfectly healthy before. i was still feeling nausea. i was sent to a gi doc who did a edg.. said i have gastritis and acid reflux. was this damage to vagus nerve? can this go away?

Prob. unrelated: I usually avoid a "definite Yes, or No" answer... I do this to remind myself few things in this world are "impossible". Gastritis (inflamation/irritation) of the stomach lining, and gastric reflux, are two very commonly seen abnormalities which are often mild. Though it's not impossible to damage a nerve during surgery, it's not "common" and the other 2 abnormalities are fairly common.
