Had persistent nausea. had gallbladder out. 1 week post-op, still loss off appetite and nausea. zofran (ondansetron) doesn't always help.

Watchful waiting: Maybe the nausea was never related to the gallbladder or it is related to the operation itself. For now, just need to wait. If it persists for another 3-6 months, see a GI doctor for a consult. Could be sphincter of oddi dysfunction, gastroparesis, or even gerd. Hope it gets better!
