I always encourage clients to tell me when they feel uncomfortable, so we can explore that further. She was: Probably attempting to discover if there are any underlying issues like personal and emotional injuries or trauma that could be a contributing or even a causative factor. It's part of the continuing assessment and treatment. If you are uncomfortable with personal questions then she might be in the right area; its possible that psychotherapy might not be for you. Keep trying with someone you trust.
