Dr. Bernard Seif answered

Specializes in Clinical Psychology

Psychotherapy is: a process that helps over time. Mornings are difficult for a lot of folks. If medical conditions have been ruled out by your doc, see a mental health professional who specializes in depression and cognitive behavioral therapy. A good book is "Feeling Good" by David Burns. It's a book to work with, not just read. Peace and good health.

Depression : If you've only tried one psychologist, try another, and perhaps one or two more. Often times it takes a very long time to find the right therapist with whom you feel comfortable. Don't give up.
