Seek advice: Bleeding depends if it originates from the upper gastrointestinal tract or lower tract. There are many causes from benign as hemorrhoids up to cancer. Sometimes inflammation can also be a cause, such as colitis. Ulcers are always in the differential. Seek advice with your physician to determine the exact cause and you may need to see a GI physician. Avoid NSAID medications in meantime. Good luck!
