Dark stool: The main signs are bloody vomit and dark black stools. If you see these, call your doctor as soon as possible.

Stool test: If you think your ulcer may be bleeding, you can to stool test for occult blood. You need to take dietary precautions and it will be prudent to talk to your doctor. Severe uncontrolled GERD (acid reflux). Can this cause stomach ulcers & internal bleeding?
Had upper GI scope. Finding non bleeding duodenum ulcer. Stomach was tested for h pylori - negative. Duodenum wasnt tested. Can HP only infect duodenum? Should duodenum also be tested for HP? I dont take meds that cause ulcers - have severe stress?
