Second opinion: Your doctor is saying you are ok, but obviously if you are this worried, you are not. First is make sure nothing physical. Sounds like you could be having panic attacks, but if you have documented episodes of high blood pressure, this needs to be looked into as well. Also a holter monitor or event monitor may be useful in assessing what your true heart rate is when you are actually having symptoms.

Don't know your : Question but sound you have hypertension. Chest pain it's a symptom of uncontrolled hypertension. Complications like stroke and heart attacks can happen. Ekg basic labs need to be done. 85% essential but 10-15% can be cause by, for example, a endocrine disease. Low sodium high potassium diet, loose weight if overweight, exercise, avoid smoking and excess in alcohol intake.
