I had a ct scan of my brain and they found a lesion, my dr. said it could be meningioma. going 4 mri. what else could it be?

Falx calcification: This is likely to be a benign tumor. But MRI will see the tumor more clearly. It will also see the dura and the meninges if they are involved. In general ct scans always lead to another test and therefore are less useful. If you have a choice always choose the mri. You will save yourself radiation and money.
