Rhi scan shows lesion right occipital bone likely osteoma or meningioma.noncontrast brain ct august21 says no mass lesions.new ct skull vault booked.is it poss that lesion appeard between scans? or was brain ct unlikely to see it being non contrast?

As has been already answered, all of this comes down to resolution, and images can miss very small lesions. But both osteomas and meningiomas are very slowly growing lesions, and if one or other is visualized on your next scan, confirms prior presence.
