2015 brain mri found a right frontal meningioma with calcification. follow up mri found no change. a recent mri could not see the meningioma? why?

Meningioma: Unfortunately meningiomas do not just go away. They may be difficult to see on MRI if small enough and if contrast is not given, etc. Generally it is good if they can not see it as a lesion that has grown will be easier to spot on the recent MRI.
