2 years ago i had a ct scan for some headaches i was having and they found no tumor, about a week ago i had a mri for an unrelated issue and they found a 8mm meningioma. should i be worried about its growth in that short period of time?

Meningiomas are extra cerebral slow-growing lesions that typically do not result in presentation with a large damaging mass. They may be clinically silent and non-eventful for years and are usually discovered coincidentally. At your age, a surgeon will likely suggest periodic updated films and an MRI would likely have the best views.

Had Ct scan cause of headaches. Radiologist reviewed said all good no worries. A MRI as follow up has been requested by dr still said nothing to worry this follow up was normal routine. If mass or tumor would something have showed in CT. So worried?
Head Ct scan findings mentioned dural calcification versus calcified meningioma measuring .4cm. Ct impression/summary said no intracranial hemorrhage, midline shift or mass effect and other injuries from accident. Dr didnt mention tumor? No tumor?
