I have allergic rhinitis my physician prescribed nasonex (mometasone) but the symptoms worsen i stopped it i feel more comfortable now but i smell strange odor ?

Possible sinusitis: In order for Nasonex (mometasone) (or any nasal spray) to help, you need to take it correctly, pointing the tip of the bottle towards the ear on the same side, while looking down (right side of right nostril, left ear on the left). You need to rinse your nose with saline and blow your nose before the medicine. Nasonex (mometasone) is odorless. Sinusitis is a possible explanation.
