Is it ok to take melatonin to help with insomnia every night. 10mg?

Yes: Using melatonin on a nightly basis is fine, and probably more effective than taking it only occasionally. Try practicing good sleep habits as well, and you will be off to dreamland!

Melatonin: There is a 10mg release form of melatonin. Using good sleep hygiene is important. 1. Keep a regular bedtime & wakening time (to include weekends). Get up the same time each day, regardless of what time you fell asleep. 2. Make a regular, relaxing bedtime routine. Relaxing rituals prior to bedtime may include a warm bath or shower, aroma therapy, reading, or listening to gentle music.
